Nissan Juke-R: Cross unlikely

In the Nissan lineup, the similarities between the GT-R and the Juke seem rather limited. Yet the sporty has agreed to sell its powerful twin-turbo V6 in the small 4x4, time for a frenzy of engineers.

A singular, hips marked a center console that evokes a pool of motorcycle: the Juke is not a big shy. Including the mechanical, as it can get a strong 1.6 Turbo 190 hp. But today, the urban SUV Nissan decided to let go completely, by taking the mechanics of its big sister GT-R: a twin-turbo V6 3.8 530 hp. Although no performance figures are provided, acceleration should move. Still under development, Juke-R will probably no difficulty to go below 4 s in the performance of 0 to 100 km / h. A feat that few elected officials will appreciate, as only two copies will be produced: one with right-hand drive, the other left-hand drive.

Shares, the GT-R has also provided his wheel drive and dual-clutch gearbox and six-speed, always rejected under the rear floor. Much of the instrumentation also comes from the supersport house, starting with the large central screen that displays various information: longitudinal and lateral acceleration, timing, pressure turbos ... Otherwise, the Juke-R does not bother to compromise. Designed by RML (Ray Mallock Limited), who handled many Nissan competition, this delirium-night received a roll cage and two bucket seats with five-point harness. Not to mention the look of muscle copiously, with two tailgate spoiler, large extractor or even 20-inch wheels.
